    Answer:By： If it's an espresso maker that's sohwemat true, if it's just for regular coffee it's not true.I have a melitta coffee maker that's just a filter basket that you put a paper filter into and put fresh ground coffee into (this is important) and pour hot water over and it drips into a cup below.It did not cost a lot at all and it makes better coffee than a friend who bought an expensive coffee maker and it also makes better coffee than Keurig coffee makers do and those are very expensive.I also use a French press at times and this also makes better coffee than the very expensive coffee makers do.I mainly just drink one cup of coffee at a time so these types of coffee makers are perfect for me.
